This Privacy Policy describes how Nereus Data ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our family of iOS applications: GraceLock, NoorLock, ShabbatLock, DharmaLock, SadhanaLock, EnsoLock, CosmosLock, and PhiloLock (collectively, the "Apps").

Our Core Principle: Local-First, Privacy by Design

Our Apps are designed with your privacy as a foundational principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. The Apps operate entirely on your device.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicit about what we do not do:

• No user accounts. The Apps do not require registration, login, or any form of account creation.
• No personal data collection. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
• No location tracking. The Apps do not access or track your location.
• No contacts access. The Apps do not access your contacts or address book.
• No browsing history. We do not monitor or record your browsing activity.
• No cross-app tracking. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
• No data sales. We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The Apps store the following information exclusively on your device using iOS local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:

• App preferences and settings (e.g., selected locked apps, schedule preferences, theme choices)
• Scripture reading history and progress (e.g., passages you have read, quiz results)
• Lock schedules (e.g., times and days you have configured for app locking)
• Unlock method preferences (e.g., your preferred way to engage with content before unlocking)

This data is stored in the app's sandboxed container and is automatically deleted if you uninstall the App.

3. Apple Screen Time and Family Controls

Our Apps use Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time APIs to manage app access on your device. Important details about this integration:

• All Screen Time data is managed entirely by iOS and processed on your device.
• We never receive, access, or transmit any Screen Time data, app usage data, or information about which apps you use or how often.
• Apple's Family Controls framework operates within iOS system processes that are fully isolated from our app code.

4. Third-Party Services

Superwall (Paywall Management)

Our Apps use Superwall to manage subscription paywalls and optimize the purchase experience. Superwall may collect the following anonymous, non-personally-identifiable information:

• Anonymous device identifiers (generated by Superwall, not your Apple ID or device serial number)
• App interaction events related to paywall screens (e.g., whether a paywall was viewed, dismissed, or resulted in a purchase)
• General device information (device model, OS version, app version)
• Subscription status

This data is used solely to optimize the paywall experience and is governed by Superwall's Privacy Policy.

Superwall does not collect:

• Your name, email, or any personal contact information
• Your scripture reading activity or content preferences
• Your Screen Time data or app usage patterns
• Any information about which apps you have locked

Apple App Store

Subscription purchases are processed entirely through the Apple App Store. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect personal data from any users, no special provisions are required. The Apps are suitable for use by all ages.

6. Data Security

Since user data is stored exclusively on your device:

• Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
• App data is stored in iOS sandboxed storage, which prevents other apps from accessing it.
• We recommend keeping your device software up to date to benefit from the latest security protections.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local data is retained on your device until you delete the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
• Superwall anonymous analytics are retained according to Superwall's data retention policies.
• To reset all App data without uninstalling, you can use the "Reset App Data" option in the App's Settings.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, most traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) are inherently satisfied. Your data lives on your device and is under your full control.

If you wish to:

• Delete your data: Uninstall the App, or use the in-app "Reset App Data" option.
• Opt out of Superwall analytics: Disable analytics in the App's Settings under Privacy.
• Request information: Contact us at the email below and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification.

11. Jurisdiction-Specific Disclosures

For California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. Since we do not collect personal information, CCPA data subject requests are inherently fulfilled.

For European Residents (GDPR)

We do not collect or process personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation. Our legal basis for any data processing (limited to anonymous Superwall analytics) is legitimate interest in improving the App experience.

Regardless of your location, our commitment is the same: your personal data stays on your device, and we do not collect, sell, or share it.
